Its red catuai processed in the traditional washed style without additives, to produce a subtle and sophisticated coffee. The twenty acre farm run by the faithful and laborious Miranda family grows their coffee at a 2,000 elevation with the perfect mixture of volcanic soil from Mauna Loa and year-around shade.
At a medium roast, the robust bean size (extra fancy grade) produces a uniform roast bursting with flavor—berry and floral aromas lead into a sweet and complex desert like cup with notes of black grape, melon, Meyer lemon and milk chocolate.
