Hawaii Kona Honey Extra Fancy

from $55.00

A rare find! A honey processed coffee from Hawaii’s famed Kona coffee belt. The Extra Fancy typica beans complimented by the honey processing method produces a sweeter, fruitier, and more full-bodied coffee while still maintaining a perfect balance of mild acidity and clean finish. This coffee, cultivated at elevations ft to 2,500 in the potent soil of the Hualalai Volcano slopes, grows to a larger size (“Extra Fancy” under the Hawaiian grading). When honey processed and roasted, the coffee packs a truly exceptional flavor and aroma, highlighted with a fruity sweetness without the lingering finish, excess acidity or heavy body of other coffees.

At a medium roast, flavors notes include molasses, cocoa nibs, hazelnut, sweet chocolate and dark plum.
